Exactly 2 months before my sister's wedding, which is why I wanted to start on this day. I had planned to start my blog on this day as well, but it took my a little longer than I had planned to come up with a name for my blog. I took a couple pictures of myself so everyone can see how I look starting this journey. There's no sucking in going on in these pictures.
Anyways, I started my morning with a small glass of green tea before I started getting ready for work. I stopped at one of the local coffee stands (Human Bean) on my way to work and got a 16 oz. Low Fat Caramel Granita. This is one thing I need to work on, not getting so many coffee drinks. It's normal for me to have one every single morning. For lunch I had an egg salad sandwich on wheat bread. I actually made the egg salad myself for the first time ever. It turned out really good too. Just wish I had come celery to add to it. I also had a Fuji apple and to drink I had a 16 oz. Nonfat Iced Awake Tea Latte from Starbucks. Now normally I wouldn't get 2 drinks from 2 different coffee places in the same day, but one of the drug reps at work brought us coffee unexpectedly. So I just drank the one she brought us for lunch. For dinner I had a shredded chicken enchilada. My mother-in-law made them so I'm not 100% sure what was in them but I could tell there was the shredded chicken, beans, olives, the tortilla and enchilada sauce. Not sure if there was anything else in there. It was very yummy. I also had a small handful of tortilla chips with freshly smashed avocado. And for dessert I had 3 rectangles of a symphony chocolate bar. Throughout the day I drank 2- 8 oz. glasses of water. Ok I said I wasn't ready to say how much I weigh, but whatever I'm just going to say it. It's just a number, right? *Sigh* I weigh myself every morning and today (Aug. 15) I weighed 241.4. At the beginning of the year I weighed 248, the most I've ever weighed. So I've lost 7 pounds since then, but I've also been up and down since then. So this is the time for that number to go down and continue going down. I would eventually love to be under 200 lbs., but losing 10-20 lbs. to start is good for me.
